Ingredients
- Prawns(fresh or frozen, Chemmeen) - 1/2 kg
- Onions(thinly sliced) - 2 nos
- Green chillies - 3 nos
- Curry leaves(A few) -
- Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
- Red chilly powder - 2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 1/2 tbsp
- Coconut pieces - 1/2 cup
- Gingerchopped) -
- Garlic(chopped) -
- Tomato(chopped) - 1 no
- Coriander leaves -
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Oil(As reqd) -

Instructions
- Boil cleaned prawns with slit green chillies, curry leaves, 1/2 tbsp of coriander powder, 1 tbsp of chilly powder and 1 tbsp of turmeric powder.
- When cooked, add salt as required.
- Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
- Add onion and coconut pieces followed by the remaining portions of red chilly powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder.
- Keep frying till the onion is golden brown and the masala brings out a nice aroma.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and keep frying for another 2 mins.
- Finally add the cooked prawns to this mixture.
- Keep on medium flame and fry till the prawns start becoming brown and fried.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- :- Serve Kerala Prawns Fry hot with rice.
