  • 1 1/4 cup Apple grated
  • 2 tbsp Khoya/Mava
  • 1 3/4 tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • Cardmom powdered
  • 2 tbsp Walnut chopped
  • 2 tbsp Cashewnut chopped
  • 3/4 tbsp Ghee
  • Vanilla essence Few drops


  • For preparing apple khoya halwa for kids, first melt ghee in a non-stick pan.
  • Add the grated apple and cook for 5 minutes stirring continuously.
  • When the apple is almost done, add khoya/mava and cook for 3 minutes stirring in between.
  • Stir in milk and cook in low heat for 5 more minutes.
  • Add sugar, chopped walnut, cashewnut and cardmom. Cook in medium heat for 5 minutes till it gets a halwa consistency.
  • Sprinkle vanilla essence and mix well.
  • Delicious apple khoya halwa for kids, is ready.
