Heat little oil in kadai and fry onion till golden color. Allow it to cool and grind it with cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, coriander powder, chilly powder and turmeric powder. Keep this aside.
In pressure cooker, add oil and saute the ground masala for 5 minutes. Add chopped tomatoes and fry again till the oil comes out.
Add the beef pieces and salt. Cook with little water.
When cooked open the lid and add curry leaves and little oil on top.
