  1. Peel the beetroots and then cut them into small pieces and keep the pieces separately.

  2. Heat oil in a frying pan and then add the chopped onion into the heated oil.

  4. Add the coriander powder, red chilli powder and salt into the onion and stir it further.

  5. When the colour of this mix turns into golden, add the beetroot pieces into the mix and cover the frying pan with a lid and allow to cook the mix for about 10 - 15 minutes in low flame - without adding water.

  6. When the mix is cooked well, add the grated coconut and stir it further for about 2 - 3 minutes.
