- Beetroot : 2 - 3 nos
- Salt to taste -
- coriander powder : 2 tsp -
- Red chilli powder : 1 tsp -
- Grated coconut : ½ cup -
- Chopped onion / shallots : 1/2 cup -
- Coconut/Refined oil : 2 - 3 tsp

Instructions
- Peel the beetroots and then cut them into small pieces and keep the pieces separately.
- Stir the onion well.
- Add the coriander powder, red chilli powder and salt into the onion and stir it further.
- When the mix is cooked well, add the grated coconut and stir it further for about 2 - 3 minutes.
- Beetroot fry is ready and can be served with poori, chappathi , cooked rice etc.
