  • 1 no Pita kind of round bread like chappathi when cut at sides gives a pocket
  • 150 gm Shredded chicken
  • 1 no Onion sliced, small onion
  • 2 tbsp Yoghurt/Curd
  • 1 - Hot sauce available in market
  • 1/2 cup Salad u will get that in packets in European as well as US supermarkets. It includes lettuce, spinach etc
  • Oil for frying

For marinating:-


  • For preparing home made hot sauce:- 1)Add some chilly powder in oil.
  • Add 1 tbsp of tomato ketchup and some pepper and stir. :- Hot sauce is ready.
  • For preparing salad:- 1)Sprinkle salad with some salt and add 1 tsp olive oil and mix well.
  • For preparing kebab:- 1)Marinate chicken with spices listed: chilly powder, coriander powder, ginger garlic pastes, turmeric and required salt for 5 - 10 minutes.
  • Fry chicken in oil, until its brown and crisp.
  • Take the pita and cut side and make a pocket.
  • Brush the inside of pita with hot sauce.
  • Fill the pita with salad, chicken, sliced onion and yogurt in layers.
  • :- Homemade chicken kebab is ready.
  • :- Doener kebab is very famous in eastern Europe. Actually its an Iranian dish. This is not the exact recipe as I have made an easy version of it. They actually grill chicken with seasoning.
  • :- You can use chappathi instead of pita and fill in with chicken and all and roll to make a kebab roll.
