Eggs In A Spicy Cream Sauce

Hard boiled eggs and other ingredients are added to make this spicy gravy

  • 6-8 nos Hard boiled eggs halved
  • 3 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 4 nos Onions chopped finely
  • 1 inch Ginger chopped finely
  • 1 no Green chilly chopped finely
  • 1/2 cup Cream
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Cumin roasted and ground
  • 1/2 tsp Chilly powder
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 2 tsp Tomato paste
  • 2 cups Chicken stock
  • 1 tbsp Coriander leaves chopped finely


  • For preparing eggs in a spicy cream sauce, heat the oil and add in the onions.
  • Stir and fry for about three minutes or until the pieces are brown at the edges.
  • Put in ginger and green chilly. Stir and fry for a minute.
  • Put in the cream, lemon juice, ground cumin, chilly powder, salt, garam masala, tomato paste and chicken stock.
  • Mix thoroughly and allow it to simmer.
  • Put all the egg halves into the sauce in a single layer.
  • Cook over medium heat for about five minutes, spooning the sauce over the eggs. Remove it from the flame.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  • Eggs in a spicy cream sauce is ready. Serve hot.
