Garlic Mutton Mutton delight 1 kg Mutton1/2 cup Garlic2 tsp Chilly powder2 tsp Coriander powder1/4 tsp Turmeric powder1/8 tsp Cumin seeds (Jeerakam)2 pinch Aniseed (Perinjeerakam)1 tsp Ginger1/2 tsp Pepper powder12 nos Cloves (Grambu)2" piece Cinnamon (Karugapatta)2 nos Cardamom (Elakka)2 cups Onion (chopped)1 cup Tomato (chopped)1/2 cup Coconut milk2 pinch SugarSalt (As reqd)Oil Grind together chilly powder, coriander powder, cumin seeds, aniseeds, chopped ginger, cloves, cinnamon and cardamom properly.Add salt and mix this paste with mutton and keep aside for 3 hours.Heat oil in a pan.Add turmeric powder.Add 1 cup of chopped onions and fry, until it becomes golden brown in color.Remove the onions from oil.Add the remaining 1 cup of onion and tomato into the oil and fry it.Add sugar.Add mutton and stir for sometime.Add some hot water and cook well.Add coconut milk.Remove from the stove.Cook the garlic in steam and fry in oil.Add this to the mutton, before serving.Garnish with fried onions. FANTASTIC RECIPE,thought cos of garlic it may not be good but after trying came out well,emmmmmyyy,very tasty with nice FABULOUS GARLIC FLAVOUR.
(without coconut also i tried its really good in either way)
