750 g Chicken (with skin)300 g Coriander leaves2 cloves Garlic1/2 inch Ginger4 nos Green chillies5 nos Cardamom (Elakka)5 nos Cloves (Grambu)3 pieces Cinnamon (Karugapatta)1 tsp Pepper powder1 no Lemon juice2 tbsp Coconut vinegar For preparing goan chicken kaphrel, clean the chicken and cut into big pieces.Marinate the chicken with salt and coconut vinegar.Grind coriander leaves, garlic, ginger, green chillies, cardamon, cinnamon, cloves, pepper powder and lemon juice without adding water.Apply it on the chicken and keep it aside for 30 minutes.Heat a china dish without adding oil.Cook the chicken in the china dish in low flame without adding oil. Cover with a lid while cooking.Turn it over at intervals. Allow all the sides to cook.If the chicken is sticking on to the dish, add a little water.
