  • Heat oil in a kadai or wok.
  • Splutter mustard seeds and saute whole red chillies.
  • Add the cut ginger and green chillies and fry for a minute.
  • Add the tamrind pulp, pinch of red chilly powder, jaggery, pinch of salt and let it cook till the mixture thickens.
  • :- You can have this as a chutney with biriyani.

    Very good recipe…i made this as a side dish for mutton biriyani..really its an excellent recipe..easy to prepare….
