Ingredients
- Chicken - 500 g
- Onion(finely sliced) - 250 g
- Tomato(finely sliced) - 250 g
- Green chillies - 8 nos
- Shallots(Kunjulli) - 1/2 cup
- Ginger(A small piece) -
- Garlic pod(whole) - 1 no
- Curry leaves(Few) -
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
- Chilly powder - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
- Oil - 1/4 cup

Instructions
- Clean and cut chicken into medium pieces.
- Crush together shallots, garlic, ginger and green chillies.
- Heat oil in a heavy bottom vessel.
- Add curry leaves and onion and saute, till they become soft.
- Add the crushed shallot mixture and simmer for 1 minute.
- Add all powders and stir once.
- Add chicken and tomatoes and allow it to boil.
- When it starts boiling, add salt.
- Cover and cook in simmer for 20 - 30 minutes.
- When the oil separates, allow it to cook on a low flame for another 10 minutes to roast it.
- :- Serve hot with boiled rice or rotis.

Very nice. I also added 1/2 tsp pepper powder and two cardamom. Added 1 cup of water for boiling.
