  • Cucumber : 3 nos
  • Roasted peanuts : ½ cup
  • Freshly grated coconut : ½ cup
  • Green chilli chopped : 1 no
  • Lemon juice : 2 tsp (can be add more or less)
  • Chopped coriander leaves : 1 tsp
  • Salt and sugar : as reqd
  • For the tempering :
  • Oil : 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds : ½ tsp
  • 6 nos Curry leaves : 5


  • Rinse and peel the cucumbers and chop.
  • Keep aside for 15 minutes.
  • Now squeeze water from them and put it into a bowl. Now crush the fried peanuts.
  • Mix the peanuts, grated coconut, lemon juice, coriander leaves and chopped green chilli with the cucumber.

  • Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds till they pop. Add the curry leaves and fry for few seconds.
  • Pour this entire tempering mixture in the bowl of cucumber and toss well.
  • Just before serving add some sugar and salt. Mix well and serve.
