  • Kumbalanga. 1/2
  • Shallot. 8
  • Curry leaves. 1 sprig
  • dried red chilly powder. 2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Mustard. 2 tsp
  • Oil as needed


  • Heat a pan pour oil and add mustard when its hot
  • When mustard splutters add shallot and curry leaves
  • Add chilly powder
  • Saute it well then add kumbalanga and salt
  • Stir well and close the pan
  • Make the flame low and wait until it gets cooked
  • Our dish is ready
