Meat Loaf In Microwave

For preparing meat loaf:

  • 250 g Minced meat/Keema washed and squeezed
  • 2 nos Bread slices soaked & squeezed
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 tbsp Coriander leaves chopped
  • 1/4 cup Curd
  • 1 no Egg beaten
  • Salt As reqd
  • Pepper As reqd

For preparing sauce:

  • 1/2 tsp All purpose flour Maida
  • 1/2 tbsp Tomato sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Mustard powder
  • 1/2 tsp Chilly sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce


  • For preparing meat loaf in microwave, first mix together ingredients given under meat loaf preparation: minced meat, crushed bread, ginger paste, garlic paste, garam masala, curd, beaten egg, pepper and required salt.
  • Grease a micro friendly dish and place the keema mixture in it. Smoothen surface with the back of a spoon.
  • Cover and micro in high mode for 10 minutes.
  • Take the meat loaf from the oven and pour the juice to another bowl.
  • Over turn the meat loaf onto a plate. Keep this aside.
  • To the juices, add all the ingredients mentioned under sauce preparation: maida flour, tomato sauce, mustard powder, chilly sauce and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Mix well without any lumps.
  • Now, pour the prepared sauce over the meat loaf so as to cover it completely.
  • Micro in high mode, uncovered, at medium 50 mode for 10 minutes. Meat loaf in microwave is ready.
  • For dipping, prepare a separate sauce by mixing equal quantities of chilly sauce, tomato sauce and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Before serving meat loaf, slice into halves and garnish with coriander leaves/parsley.
