- mutton 1 kg -
- onion 3 no. -
- Tomato 2 no. -
- Coconut : 1 cup -
- fennel seed 2 tsp -
- Sesame seed 1 tsp -
- cinnamom 1 no. -
- ginger garlic paste 3 tsp -
- Red chilli powder : 1 tsp -
- Turmeric Powder: 1 tsp -
- Salt to taste -
- coriander powder : 2 tsp -
- Garam Masala : 1 tsp -
- Black pepper : 1 tsp -
- Green chilli 2 no. -
- Curry leaves 1 bunch -
- oil 5 tsp -

Instructions
- in a bowl add red chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder, garam masala, black pepper, coriander powder and ginger garlic paste
- add cleaned and washed mutton
- mix well with the masala and marinate for 15 minutes.
- in a cooker heat the oil, add onion, green chilli and curry leaves
- now add the marinated mutton and mix well
- now add required water to boil and allow for 2 whistles
- in a pan heat the oil and temper the cinnamom and fennel seeds
- add chopped onion and saute it for 10 minutes, until it turns into golden brown
- add chopped tomato and mix well
- now add the cooked mutton along with water and mix well and allow to cook for 10 minutes
- if needed add red chilli powder and coriander masala
- in a mixie jar add coconut, sesame seeds and fennel seeds and make a fine paste
- add coconut paste in to the mutton and mix well and allow to boil until the gravy get dry and that masala mix with the mutton.
- mutton chettinadu fry is ready.
