- Chicken - 1 kg
- Curd - 1 cup
- Kashmiri Chilly powder - 2 tbsp
- Cumin powder - 1 tsp
- Garam masala - 1 1/2 tsp
- Kasoori methi(Uluva ela) - 1 pinch
- Ajwain(Ayamodakam) - 1 tsp
- Black salt(As reqd) -
- Chat masala - 1 tbsp
- Mustard oil - 2 tbsp
- Ginger Paste - 1 tbsp
- Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
- Mint leaves(ground) - 1 tsp
- Oil(As reqd) -

- For preparing north indian chicken fry, first make a paste of curd, chilly powder, cumin powder, garam masala, kasoori methi, aymodhakam, salt, chat masala, mustard oil, ginger paste and garlic paste. Marinate the chicken pieces with this paste for 1 hour.
- Fry the chicken pieces in oil.
- North indian chicken fry is ready. Serve it with puthina chutney.
