Ingredients
- Prawn - 2 cups
- Onions(sliced) - 4 nos
- garlic - 10 cloves
- Dry red chillies - 20 nos
- Ginger - 2 pieces
- Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1/2 tbsp
- Vinegar - 1 1/2 cups
- Gingelly oil - 2 cups
To Fry:
- garlic - 1 tbsp
- Green chillies - 2 nos
- Ginger - 1 tbsp
- Curry leaves(As reqd) -
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- For preparing onion - prawn pickle, clean the prawns. Marinate the prawns for 10 minutes with turmeric powder, 1 tsp vinegar and salt.
- In the same oil fry onions, ginger, garlic, curry leaves and green chillies.
- Add in prawns and fry it well.
- Add in salt, vinegar and rest of the ingredients. Fry well and then allow it to cool.
- Allow it to cool and store in a bottle.
- Onion - prawn pickle is ready. Serve when required.
