Ingredients
- Black gram(Uzhunnuparippu) - 1/2 cup
- Bengal gram(Kadalaparippu) - 1/2 cup
- Red gram(Thuvaraparippu) - 1/2 cup
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Curry leaves(A few) -
- Onion(cut into small pieces, big) - 1 no
- Green chillies(cut into small pieces) - 2 nos
- Ginger(cut into small pieces) - 1" piece
- Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder(A pinch) -
- Oil for frying -

Instructions
- Soak all the dals in water for atleast 2 hrs.
- Grind these together to make a thick paste. Do not add water while grinding.
- Add onions, curry leaves, green chilly, ginger, chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt and mix well.
- Wet your hands and make balls off the paste and make patties.
- Deep fry in oil till golden brown in colour.
- :- Serve hot.

We don t use uzhunnu parippu for Parippu Vada. Kadala Parippu is good enough.
