  • Clean the chicken and cut into small pieces.
  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan.
  • Add mustard seeds and fennel seeds powder and fry until seeds splutter.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste, onions and allow them to cook until they turn golden brown in colour.
  • Add chicken pieces.
  • Sprinkle garam masala, red chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt and allow it to cook.
  • When the chicken is half cooked, add coriander leaves, tomatoes and mix well.
  • Cover the pan and let the chicken cook well.
  • :- Serve hot with chapathis or parathas.

    Great recipe, except that the chilli/pepper measure felt too spicy. I put only 2 spoons of chilli and 2 spoons of pepper and the curry came out good!

    This recipe is excellent. Ofcourse I put 1 tsp Chilli and 2 tsp Pepper and found it just right. Instead of mentioning the quanity of chicken as 1 full chiken, Please update this recipe with the weight of chicken for which these measurements apply.
