Rice Souffle

Rice, milk, apple pulp, strawberry jam and other ingredients are added

  • 100 g Rice
  • 1 litre Milk
  • 1 cup Stewed apple pulp
  • 2 tbsp Strawberry jam
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla essence
  • 6 nos Eggs separated and beaten well
  • Sugar As reqd
  • 1 tbsp Brandy optional


  • For preparing rice soufflT, boil the milk and rice together till thick and creamy.
  • Add egg yolks, sugar and essence. Mix well.
  • Pour one-third of this mixture into a greased mould and cover it with a thin layer of jam
  • Repeat the layers similarly and top the soufflT with a layer of apple pulp.
  • Then cover it with a layer of egg whites and bake it for about 30 minutes.
  • Rice soufflT is ready. Serve with brandy poured over.
