  • 1 cup White fungus
  • 1 cup Red dates Singapore type
  • 1 cup Dry longan
  • 1/2 cup Ginkgo nuts
  • 1 cup Barley
  • Rock sugar as reqd
  • Salt to taste


  • Soak white fungus for 1 hour.
  • Put water and white fungus to boilßfor one and a half to two hours till it turns soft.
  • Add barley into soup and cook for anotherß30 minutes or until cooked.
  • Add dry longan into soup and cook for further 15 minutes.
  • Finally, add in ginkgo nuts, red dates, salt and rock sugar for 10-15 minutes.
  • :- Sweet Chinese Soup is ready!!! :- Serve the Sweet Chinese Soup hot!!!
