- Chicken(chopped) - 1 kg
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Onions(chopped) - 5 nos
- Tomatoes(chopped) - 4 nos
- garlic(chopped) - 20 cloves
- Ginger(chopped) - 1 inch
- Green chillies(slit) - 5 nos
- Coriander powder - 3 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
- Cloves(Grambu) - 5 nos
- Cardamom(Elakka) - 5 nos
- Cinnamon(Karuga patta) - 1 piece
- Fennel seeds(Prerum jeerakam) - 1 tsp
- Curry leaves - 3 sprigs
- Coriander leaves(chopped) - 4 springs

Instructions
- For preparing tasty chicken roast, splutter mustard seeds in oil. Saute onions, garlic, ginger and green chillies in it.
- Take a bowl and mix in coriander powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom and fennel seeds with a little water. Pour this to the above mixture and fry well.
- 3)Then add in tomatoes, salt and curry leaves.
- Add in the chicken pieces and mix well. Allow it to cook on low flame with a closed lid.
- Stir it at intervals and cook till the water dries up completely.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Tasty chicken roast is ready. Serve hot.
