Ingredients
- Brinjals : 150 gm -
- Mustard seeds : a few -
- Curry leaves : 1 leaf -
- Garlic : a few -
- Vinegar : 1tsp -
- Tamarind : a few -
- Onions : ½ of a small onion -
- Cinnamon stick : 1 no -
- Coriander powder : 1 tsp -
- Dry chilli : a few -
- Sugar : ½ tsp -
- Cumin powder: ¼ tsp -
- Turmeric powder : a pinch -
- Salt to taste -
- Coconut milk: 1 cup -

Instructions
- Grind together red chillies, mustard seeds and cinnamon stick.
- Heat oil. Fry brinjals .
- Boil together fried brinjals, ground spices, vinegar, turmeric, curry leaves, cumin and coriander powder. Add tamarind water also.
- Simmer till brinjals are well cooked. Add sugar just before removing from fire.
- Brinjal Pahie ready.
