Green gram gravy is a very healthy and tasty curry that goes well with Chapathi and Roti. The curry tastes so good and can be had even with rice.

  • fry the moong dal in the pan without adding oil
  • broke the fried moong dal.
  • broke all the moong dal.
  • boil the broken moong dal by adding water, tomato, green chili, salt, turmeric powder and garlic
  • once it get boiled, smash the boiled moong dal as shown the picture
  • in a pan heat the oil and temper the mustard, broken black gram and fennel seeds
  • add curry leaves, red chili and onion, saute it until the onion turn into brown
  • add the onion mixtures into the moong dal and mix well. add salt if needed
  • moong dal curry is ready. serve with rice, chappati or roti
