Ingredients
- Brown rice(Kuthari) - 4 cups
- Coconut milk(of 1 coconut) -
- 1st milk - 2 cups
- 2nd milk - 6 cups
- Coconut(grated) - 1/2 cup
- Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1/4 tsp
- Fennel seeds(Perum jeerakam) - 1/2 tsp
- Cinnamon(Karugapatta) - 1 no
- Cardamom(Elakka) - 2 nos
- Cloves(Grambu) - 2 nos
- Red onion(chopped) - 1/2 cup
- Oil - 1/4 cup
- Curry leaves - 2 branch
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- Grind the ingredients coconut, cumin seeds, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and fennel seeds. Add it to the rice and mix well. Add salt as required.
- Heat oil in a pan, fry red onion and curry leaves. Add this mixture to the rice and mix well.
- Serve hot.
- Nadan coconut rice is ready.
