  • For preparing prawns masala ada, marinate the cleaned prawns with chilly powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt. Deep fry it in oil.
  • Heat 2 tbsp oil in a vessel and saute onion, ginger, garlic, green chilly with 1/4 tsp turmeric powder until it gets light brown in color.
  • Add fried prawns into it.
  • Add curry leaves and saute it again for 2 minutes.
  • Knead the rice flour with salt and water as required.
  • Take a medium sized ball from the kneaded dough and press it on a banana leaf. Spoon in the masala into it and fold it.
  • Steam cook for 20-30 minutes.
  • Serve it as an evening snack, for breakfast, for dinner or while breaking fast.
