- Urad dal(Uzhunnu parippu) - 1/4 glass
- Raw Rice(pachari) - 1 glass
- Flattened rice flakes(aval) - 1 glass
- Baking powder(A pinch) -
- Sugar(As reqd) -
- Oil(As reqd) -
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Fenugreek seeds(Uluva) - 25 g

Instructions
- Add baking powder, sugar and salt to it.
- Keep the batter for 3 hours.
- Pour 2 tbsp of batter in unniyappam pan & cook it.
