- Bitter Gourd : 3 nos -
- Coconut : 1/2 no -
- Onion : 1 no -
- Green chilli : 5 nos. -
- Ginger : 1/2 inch(thinly sliced) -
- Salt to taste -
- Coconut oil : few -
- Mustard : 1 tsp -
- Water : as reqd -

- For preparing the healthy, nutritious dish, first soak grated bitter gourd in salted water for 5 minutes and then drain the water well.
- Mix the bitter gourd, coconut, salt, green chilli, onion and salt well with hand.
- Now add the bitter gourd mix and stir well in low flame.
- Sprinkle little water, cover with a lid and let it cook.
- Cook till all the water has dried up and then remove it into a serving dish.
- Tasty stir fry or thoran dish is ready. Serve hot with rice for noon day meals.
