- Aval(poha) - 1 cup
- Sago(sabudana/ javarisi) - 1 cup
- Moong dal(boiled) - 1/2 cup
- Ghee - 5 tsp
- Mustard - 1 tsp
- Jeera - 1 tsp
- Bell pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Green chili - 2
- Ginger(grated) - 1/4 tsp
- Curry leaves(little) -
- Coconut - 2 tblsp
- Salt as taste -
- Cashew nut - 4 to

Instructions
- Soak both aval (poha) and sago separately and moogn dal aside
- In pan melt ghee and fry cashew and remove and keep aside
- In same pan temper mustard, jeera, pepper, curry leaves, ginger and chili
- Now add moong dal and cook for minute
- Now add both sago and aval mix well and salt too
- Now add coconut and combine all well
- Now garnish with cashew and turn off
- Now its ready to serve Aval Pongal ( poha pongal)
