  • For preparing the spicy delicious dish, first cut Beef liver into small cubes. Wash in a mixture of vinegar and water and drain well.
  • Grind coarsely the shallots, ginger, garlic and green chillies.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard and when it sputters add the crushed shallots mixture and saute well. Add curry leaves too.
  • Add the red chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder and garam masala powder and fry well. Saute the masala in very low flame otherwise the masalas will get burnt.
  • Add liver pieces and mix well.
  • Add water and allow to cook till water dries up.
  • Heat oil in a kadai. Stir in the cooked beef liver pieces and fry on a low flame till it is fried well. Note that the masala coats the pieces well.
  • The dish is ready. Kids love the dish and the protein rich dish is good for growing up kids. The dish goes well with rice for noon day meals. Enjoy the dish.
