this is my own recipe. usually we do usli in veg but i tried with egg. this came out well and crispy too

- Toor dal - 1 cup
- Egg - 2
- Dry chili - 2
- Curry leaves(little) -
- Red chili powder - 1 tsp
- Salt(as taste) -
- Oil - 5 tblsp
- Channa dal - 1 tsp
- Mustard - 1 tsp
- Asafeotida - 1/4 tsp

Instructions
- Soak toor dal for 1-2 hours
- Now grease idly pan, add toor dal mixture and steam for 10 mins
- In bowl beat egg with salt and chilli powder
- Now allow to cool both and crumble it
- In pan add oil and temper mustard, channa dal, curry leaves and asafeotida
- Now its ready to serve Muttai Usli
