- Fish - 500 Gm
- Seeraga Samba Rice - 2 cup
- Onion - 2
- Tomato - 1
- Curd - 1 cup
- Green chili - 4
- Mint and coriander leaves - 1 cup
- Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
- Saffron - 4
- Bay leaf - 1
- Cloves - 4
- Cinnamon - 2
- Cardamom(- 2) -
- Red chili powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
- Biriyani masala - 1 tsp
- Oil(for frying) -
- For marination: -
- Shallots - 6
- garlic - 5
- Funnel seed - 1/2 tsp
- Jeera - 1/2 tsp
- Pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Red chili powder - 1 tsp

Instructions
- Grind the list of ingredients is table and keep aside
- Apply on the fish and marinate for 1 hour or minimun 1/2 hour
- Now fry with oil and keep aside
- In pan add oil and fried onions and keep aside
- Cook 3/4th of rice and keep aside with salt
- Now add mint and coriander leave and all powders mix well
- Now add curd and cook thick gravy
- Now add fried fish and keep low flame
- Now add rice and layer with fried onions
- Now sprinkle mint and coriander leaves and saffron and close lid and cook for 5 -10 mins and turn off
- Now its ready to serve Chettinad Fish Fry Biriyani
