Ingredients
- Tender jackfruit(chopped into fine pieces, Idichakka) - 1/2 kg
- Dry red chillies(Kollamulaku) - 5 nos
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Grated Coconut - 1 cup
- Small onions(Kunjulli) - 3 nos
- Curry leaves - 1 sprig
For seasoning:
- Oil - 5 tbsp
- Gram - 2 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Dry red chillies(Kollamulaku) - 4 nos
- Curry leaves - 5 nos

Instructions
- For preparing Tender Jackfruit Thoran, first grind together the red chillies and turmeric powder well.
- When the jack fruit is cooked, mash the pieces.
- Grind together coconut, small onions and curry leaves.
- Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
- Add gram and mustard seeds.
- When the mustard seeds splutter, add the red chillies and curry leaves.
- Saute the mix well in low flame.
- Cover the pan and allow it to cook. Remove the lid and let all trace of water evaporate in low flame. Remove pan from fire.
- :- Serve the delicious and nutritious dish with hot rice.
